Individualized Tutoring & Mentorship for Students with Disabilities
Empowering Teens & Young Adults with Disabilities to Thrive in the Real World
We provide individualized tutoring and mentorship for students ages 14–22 with disabilities, focusing on the skills that truly matter for independence and long-term success. My sessions go beyond academics they are designed to build confidence, independence, and real world readiness.
Through structured, community-based instruction in settings such as libraries, malls, grocery stores, and other public spaces, students learn how to apply essential life and social skills in authentic environments. Each session is personalized to meet the unique strengths and needs of the individual.
Life Skills Development
Money management, time management, problem-solving, navigating community spaces, and daily living skills.
Social Skills Training
Initiating conversations, maintaining appropriate interactions, reading social cues, and building meaningful relationships.
Self-Advocacy & Confidence Building
Expressing needs, asking for help, understanding accommodations, and developing independence.
Organizational & Executive Functioning Skills
Planning, prioritizing, goal setting, and task completion.
Transition Planning Support
Preparing for the next grade level, post-secondary education, vocational programs, or part-time employment.
Workplace Readiness and Job-Search Preparation
Punctuality and attendance, following directions, communication with supervisors and coworkers, professional behavior and attitude, problem-solving at work, and time management.
Built-In Daily Structure
Each one hour session follow a consistent routine:
Check-in & Goal Setting (5–10 min)
Skill Instruction/Modeling (10–15 min)
Community-Based Practice (30–35 min)
Reflection & Feedback (10–15 min)
